I was gifted a couple vintage “how to” crafting manuals – as featured in the header above. But this is far from what we are doing in the course. Though skills are certainly learned, questions of ethics, history, gender roles and environmental impacts of textiles are explored.

For my students, now, past and future, I have gathered some links to jog their memories of some studio lessons we have covered, as well as possibilities for them to continue to go further after the course is over.
